Employee conduct that results in the harassment of other employees on the basis of sex is illegal and is not acceptable to Elk Brewing. Sexual harassment includes, but is not necessarily limited to:

Verbal comments including rumors, vulgar gestures, or physical actions of a sexual nature, which are deliberate and/or repeated.

Submission to such conduct is made either as an expressed or implied term of condition of employment.
Submission to or rejection of such conduct is used as the basis for employment related decisions such as hiring, promotion, demotion, performance appraisals, wage adjustments, discipline, work assignments, etc., or such conduct creates an offensive, intimidating or hostile environment such that it is unreasonable and interferes with work performance.

All claims will be investigated as confidentially as possible and appropriate corrective action taken, including termination if warranted.
Every employee is obligated to cooperate in an investigation, and understand it is a violation of company policy to retaliate against or penalize the employee asserting a valid claim. This policy applies to all employees while on duty, whether on or off Company property, and always while on Company property.
